# MBE Flashcards Pro vs BarWise

The clearest difference is rating: BarWise at 5.0 against MBE Flashcards Pro's 4.3. BarWise also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). MBE Flashcards Pro's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MBE Flashcards Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and BarWise sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BarWise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MBE Flashcards Pro has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
