# Checkers 10x10 vs Backgammon Live™ Board Game

The clearest difference is update cadence: Backgammon Live™ Board Game at monthly against Checkers 10x10's every 8 months. Backgammon Live™ Board Game also leads on ratings volume (62K vs 465) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Checkers 10x10's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checkers 10x10 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Backgammon Live™ Board Game sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Live™ Board Game holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backgammon Live™ Board Game has 62K ratings behind it against 465, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Checkers 10x10's written reviews are positive against 44% of Backgammon Live™ Board Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Checkers 10x10 ships an update every 8 months, Backgammon Live™ Board Game monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
