# Kinetic Global vs Lorex Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kinetic Global at 73% against Lorex Connect's 10%. Kinetic Global also leads on rating (3.2 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Lorex Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kinetic Global sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Lorex Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
