# Devialet Expert Remote vs Miele app

The clearest difference is rating: Miele app at 4.1 against Devialet Expert Remote's 2.3. Miele app also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 23) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). Devialet Expert Remote's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Miele app holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miele app has 3.6K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Devialet Expert Remote's written reviews are positive against 21% of Miele app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Devialet Expert Remote ships an update every 6 months, Miele app every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
