# TheGrint vs Bag Chart

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bag Chart at daily against TheGrint's weekly. TheGrint's advantage is ratings volume (34K vs 3) and chart position (#64 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheGrint sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bag Chart sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for TheGrint against 5.0 for Bag Chart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TheGrint has 34K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TheGrint ships an update weekly, Bag Chart daily. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
