# CrewMobile vs CrewZApp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CrewZApp at 49% against CrewMobile's 4%. CrewZApp also leads on rating (4.0 vs 1.6) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). CrewMobile's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CrewMobile sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and CrewZApp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrewZApp holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrewZApp has 180 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 4% of CrewMobile's written reviews are positive against 49% of CrewZApp's.

CrewMobile ships an update every 3 months, CrewZApp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
