# Hair Cuttery vs Remember Project

The clearest difference is ads: Remember Project at none against Hair Cuttery's shown. Remember Project also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Hair Cuttery's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Hair Cuttery against 5.0 for Remember Project. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hair Cuttery has 29K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hair Cuttery ships an update monthly, Remember Project every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
