# Netatmo Weather vs Hello Weather

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Netatmo Weather at none against Hello Weather's 9. Hello Weather's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#99 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hello Weather sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Netatmo Weather asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hello Weather holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hello Weather has 9.6K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Netatmo Weather's written reviews are positive against 76% of Hello Weather's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Netatmo Weather ships an update every 2 months, Hello Weather every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
