# Primary Writer vs Dynamilis Handwriting Practice

The clearest difference is rating: Dynamilis Handwriting Practice at 4.5 against Primary Writer's 3.7. Dynamilis Handwriting Practice also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 3). Primary Writer's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 65%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Primary Writer sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Dynamilis Handwriting Practice sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dynamilis Handwriting Practice holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dynamilis Handwriting Practice has 82 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Primary Writer's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dynamilis Handwriting Practice's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
