# uDisk vs Wi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: uDisk at 84% against Wi's 27%. uDisk also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.1) and ratings volume (233 vs 8). Wi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uDisk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wi asks for nothing beyond the download.

uDisk holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uDisk has 233 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of uDisk's written reviews are positive against 27% of Wi's.

uDisk ships an update every 2 months, Wi every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
