# Bad Piggies vs Angry Birds Evolution

The clearest difference is rating: Angry Birds Evolution at 4.6 against Bad Piggies's 4.2. Angry Birds Evolution also leads on ratings volume (49K vs 6.3K). Bad Piggies's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bad Piggies sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Angry Birds Evolution sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Angry Birds Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Angry Birds Evolution has 49K ratings behind it against 6.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Bad Piggies's written reviews are positive against 54% of Angry Birds Evolution's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bad Piggies ships an update every 6 weeks, Angry Birds Evolution every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
