# Bad Piggies vs Plants vs. Zombies™

The clearest difference is rating: Plants vs. Zombies™ at 4.8 against Bad Piggies's 4.2. Plants vs. Zombies™ also leads on ratings volume (943K vs 6.3K) and chart position (#23 vs unranked). Bad Piggies's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bad Piggies sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Plants vs. Zombies™ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plants vs. Zombies™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plants vs. Zombies™ has 943K ratings behind it against 6.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Bad Piggies's written reviews are positive against 57% of Plants vs. Zombies™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bad Piggies ships an update every 6 weeks, Plants vs. Zombies™ every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
