# KSU vs PMAU

The clearest difference is rating: KSU at 5.0 against PMAU's 3.9. PMAU's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 15%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KSU holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of KSU's written reviews are positive against 40% of PMAU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KSU ships an update every 2 months, PMAU every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
