# Linksys vs WiFi

The clearest difference is rating: Linksys at 4.7 against WiFi's 2.1. Linksys also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 39) and review sentiment (20% vs 9%). WiFi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Linksys sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. WiFi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Linksys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Linksys has 99K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Linksys's written reviews are positive against 9% of WiFi's.

Linksys ships an update every 5 weeks, WiFi every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
