# Linksys vs Wi

The clearest difference is rating: Linksys at 4.7 against Wi's 3.6. Linksys also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 97). Wi's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Linksys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Linksys has 99K ratings behind it against 97, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Linksys's written reviews are positive against 23% of Wi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Linksys ships an update every 5 weeks, Wi every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
