# AIM Weather vs Weather Gauge

The clearest difference is rating: AIM Weather at 4.4 against Weather Gauge's 1.0. AIM Weather also leads on ratings volume (154 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Weather Gauge's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIM Weather sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Weather Gauge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AIM Weather holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AIM Weather has 154 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
