# 起点读书 vs SendMyEbook

The clearest difference is rating: SendMyEbook at 5.0 against 起点读书's 3.8. SendMyEbook also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (57% vs 43%). 起点读书's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 1) and chart position (#44 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 起点读书 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SendMyEbook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SendMyEbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 起点读书 has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of 起点读书's written reviews are positive against 57% of SendMyEbook's.

起点读书 ships an update weekly, SendMyEbook fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
