# Checklist+ vs Simple List

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Simple List at none against Checklist+'s 3. Simple List also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Checklist+'s advantage is ratings volume (7.9K vs 19) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Simple List asks for nothing beyond the download.

Simple List holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist+ has 7.9K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Checklist+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Simple List every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
