# Checklist+ vs Checklists

Checklist+ and Checklists both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Checklists's written reviews are positive against 50% of Checklist+'s. Checklists also leads on ads (none vs shown). Checklist+'s advantage is ratings volume (7.9K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Checklists sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Checklist+ against 4.5 for Checklists. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist+ has 7.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of Checklist+'s written reviews are positive against 89% of Checklists's.

Checklist+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Checklists every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
