# Checklist+ vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Checklist+ at 7.9K against PrepChecklist's 7. PrepChecklist's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Checklist+ against 4.4 for PrepChecklist. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist+ has 7.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Checklist+ ships an update every 5 weeks, PrepChecklist weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
