# Checklist+ vs Time Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Checklist+ at free with in-app purchases against Time Tracker's subscription. Checklist+ also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 113). Time Tracker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Time Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Checklist+ against 4.5 for Time Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist+ has 7.9K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Checklist+'s written reviews are positive against 64% of Time Tracker's.

Checklist+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Time Tracker weekly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
