# Clock In vs Hours Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Clock In at 6.5K against Hours Tracker's 6. Hours Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock In sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Hours Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Clock In against 4.7 for Hours Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock In has 6.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
