# Ottawa Bluesfest vs Osheaga

The clearest difference is rating: Ottawa Bluesfest at 5.0 against Osheaga's 4.4. Ottawa Bluesfest also leads on ads (none vs shown). Osheaga's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ottawa Bluesfest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osheaga has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Ottawa Bluesfest's written reviews are positive against 23% of Osheaga's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ottawa Bluesfest ships an update every 11 months, Osheaga every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
