# Bubble Mania™ vs Shooty Bubbles

Bubble Mania™ and Shooty Bubbles both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 41% of Bubble Mania™'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Shooty Bubbles's. Bubble Mania™ also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 143). Shooty Bubbles's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Mania™ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Shooty Bubbles sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shooty Bubbles holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Mania™ has 5.1K ratings behind it against 143, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Bubble Mania™'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Shooty Bubbles's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bubble Mania™ ships an update every 4 weeks, Shooty Bubbles every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
