# RunGap vs Buena Vida

The clearest difference is ratings volume: RunGap at 5.9K against Buena Vida's 6. RunGap also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Buena Vida's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunGap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Buena Vida sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Buena Vida holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RunGap has 5.9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of RunGap's written reviews are positive against 100% of Buena Vida's.

RunGap ships an update every 2 weeks, Buena Vida weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
