# RunGap vs Pursuit Tag

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pursuit Tag at every 5 days against RunGap's every 2 weeks. RunGap's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunGap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Pursuit Tag sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunGap ships an update every 2 weeks, Pursuit Tag every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
