# UFC vs BJJ Fanatics

The clearest difference is update cadence: BJJ Fanatics at fortnightly against UFC's every 2 months. UFC's advantage is ratings volume (47K vs 4.5K) and chart position (#24 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UFC sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and BJJ Fanatics sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for UFC against 4.9 for BJJ Fanatics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UFC has 47K ratings behind it against 4.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of UFC's written reviews are positive against 59% of BJJ Fanatics's.

UFC ships an update every 2 months, BJJ Fanatics fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
