# UFC vs True Trainer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: True Trainer at 80% against UFC's 53%. True Trainer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). UFC's advantage is ratings volume (47K vs 11) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UFC sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and True Trainer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

True Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UFC has 47K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of UFC's written reviews are positive against 80% of True Trainer's.

UFC ships an update every 2 months, True Trainer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
