# i読書 vs SORARI

The clearest difference is rating: SORARI at 4.8 against i読書's 3.0. SORARI also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and ratings volume (39 vs 3). i読書's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. i読書 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SORARI sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SORARI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SORARI has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
