# HouseNotes2 vs Returns Pro

The clearest difference is price: Returns Pro at Free against HouseNotes2's $0.99. Returns Pro also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). HouseNotes2's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Returns Pro is free to download; HouseNotes2 costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Returns Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Returns Pro has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of HouseNotes2's written reviews are positive against 86% of Returns Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HouseNotes2 ships an update every 2 months, Returns Pro every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
