# Hungry Shark Evolution vs Vector

Hungry Shark Evolution and Vector both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of Hungry Shark Evolution's written reviews are positive against 63% of Vector's. Hungry Shark Evolution also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (201K vs 37K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hungry Shark Evolution sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Vector sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Hungry Shark Evolution against 4.8 for Vector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hungry Shark Evolution has 201K ratings behind it against 37K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Hungry Shark Evolution's written reviews are positive against 63% of Vector's.

Hungry Shark Evolution ships an update fortnightly, Vector every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
