# Costco vs PC Building Materials

The clearest difference is ads: PC Building Materials at none against Costco's shown. Costco's advantage is ratings volume (1.3M vs 1) and chart position (#14 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Costco against 5.0 for PC Building Materials. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Costco has 1.3M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
