# CurlingSimulator vs CHL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CurlingSimulator at 67% against CHL's 6%. CurlingSimulator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 41) and ads (none vs shown). CHL's advantage is rating (2.6 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 34 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CHL sells 39 one-off in-app purchases. CurlingSimulator asks for nothing beyond the download.

CHL holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHL has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of CurlingSimulator's written reviews are positive against 6% of CHL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CurlingSimulator ships an update every 34 months, CHL every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
