# Google Chrome vs FSaver

Google Chrome and FSaver both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of FSaver's written reviews are positive against 61% of Google Chrome's. Google Chrome's advantage is ratings volume (4.1M vs 1.5K) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Google Chrome sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FSaver sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Google Chrome against 4.7 for FSaver. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Chrome has 4.1M ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of Google Chrome's written reviews are positive against 90% of FSaver's.

Google Chrome ships an update weekly, FSaver every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
