# Globoplay vs RecordPlus

The clearest difference is monetization model: Globoplay at free with in-app purchases against RecordPlus's subscription. Globoplay also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#68 vs unranked). RecordPlus's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Globoplay sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and RecordPlus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Globoplay ships an update every 5 days, RecordPlus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
