# BrainPOP Jr. vs Calmergé

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrainPOP Jr. at every 6 weeks against Calmergé's every 11 months. BrainPOP Jr. also leads on ratings volume (21K vs 16) and device support (4 vs 2). Calmergé's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainPOP Jr. sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Calmergé sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainPOP Jr. holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BrainPOP Jr. has 21K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
