# Picture Collage Maker vs VideoLayout

Picture Collage Maker and VideoLayout both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 46% of Picture Collage Maker's written reviews are positive against 5% of VideoLayout's. Picture Collage Maker also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 4). VideoLayout's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Picture Collage Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and VideoLayout sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Picture Collage Maker against 4.3 for VideoLayout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Picture Collage Maker has 20K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Picture Collage Maker's written reviews are positive against 5% of VideoLayout's.

Picture Collage Maker ships an update every 2 weeks, VideoLayout fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
