# MonoVu vs Camare Experimental Camera

The clearest difference is price: MonoVu at Free against Camare Experimental Camera's $0.99. MonoVu also leads on review sentiment (43% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Camare Experimental Camera's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MonoVu is free to download; Camare Experimental Camera costs $0.99 up front. MonoVu sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Camare Experimental Camera sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Camare Experimental Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of MonoVu's written reviews are positive against 0% of Camare Experimental Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
