# SLII® vs Emergenetics+

The clearest difference is rating: Emergenetics+ at 4.5 against SLII®'s 3.3. SLII®'s advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 32%) and ratings volume (28 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Emergenetics+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SLII® has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of SLII®'s written reviews are positive against 32% of Emergenetics+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SLII® ships an update every 3 weeks, Emergenetics+ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
