# Lapse It Pro vs Time

The clearest difference is price: Time at Free against Lapse It Pro's $2.99. Lapse It Pro's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Time is free to download; Lapse It Pro costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lapse It Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lapse It Pro has 1.2K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Lapse It Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of Time's.

Lapse It Pro ships an update fortnightly, Time every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
