# GMT Mobile vs Commure Ambient

The clearest difference is rating: Commure Ambient at 4.7 against GMT Mobile's 2.8. Commure Ambient also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#182 vs unranked). GMT Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Commure Ambient sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $89.99 per month. GMT Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Commure Ambient holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Commure Ambient has 42 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GMT Mobile's written reviews are positive against 78% of Commure Ambient's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GMT Mobile ships an update every 3 weeks, Commure Ambient every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
