# CFP Flashcards vs Kaplan Schweser

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kaplan Schweser at none against CFP Flashcards's 2. Kaplan Schweser also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (39 vs 2). CFP Flashcards's advantage is rating (2.0 vs 1.7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Both are free to download. CFP Flashcards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Kaplan Schweser asks for nothing beyond the download.

CFP Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaplan Schweser has 39 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of CFP Flashcards's written reviews are positive against 6% of Kaplan Schweser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
