# Swim Note vs SWim

The clearest difference is rating: Swim Note at 4.7 against SWim's 1.0. Swim Note also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). SWim's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swim Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SWim sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swim Note holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swim Note has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Swim Note ships an update every 11 days, SWim monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
