# Swim Note vs Swim Trainer Online

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Swim Note at 68% against Swim Trainer Online's 20%. Swim Note also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). Swim Trainer Online's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swim Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Swim Trainer Online sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swim Note holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swim Note has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Swim Note's written reviews are positive against 20% of Swim Trainer Online's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
