# Swim Note vs Phlex Swim App

The clearest difference is rating: Swim Note at 4.7 against Phlex Swim App's 4.3. Phlex Swim App's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swim Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Phlex Swim App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swim Note holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 38 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Swim Note's written reviews are positive against 70% of Phlex Swim App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
