# Swim Note vs TRIA

The clearest difference is ads: TRIA at none against Swim Note's shown. TRIA also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swim Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TRIA sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
