# Text2Pic vs e

Text2Pic and e both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of Text2Pic's written reviews are positive against 9% of e's. Text2Pic also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5.4K vs 298). e's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text2Pic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and e sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Text2Pic against 4.6 for e. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text2Pic has 5.4K ratings behind it against 298, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Text2Pic's written reviews are positive against 9% of e's.

Text2Pic ships an update fortnightly, e every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
