# Text2Pic vs Poster Maker Template Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Poster Maker Template Maker at free with in-app purchases against Text2Pic's subscription. Poster Maker Template Maker also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). Text2Pic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5.4K vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text2Pic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Poster Maker Template Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Text2Pic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text2Pic has 5.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Text2Pic ships an update fortnightly, Poster Maker Template Maker every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
