# Pro Wedding Planner vs Seated

The clearest difference is monetization model: Seated at free with in-app purchases against Pro Wedding Planner's subscription. Seated also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 41%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Wedding Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Seated sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pro Wedding Planner ships an update monthly, Seated fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
