# Pro Wedding Planner vs Wedding Seating Planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Wedding Seating Planner at free with in-app purchases against Pro Wedding Planner's subscription. Wedding Seating Planner also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Pro Wedding Planner's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Wedding Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Wedding Seating Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pro Wedding Planner ships an update monthly, Wedding Seating Planner every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
